The Best Time of the Year

The weather this past week has made it feel like Christmas in a Hallmark movie.  We had snow last Sunday, Tuesday and again yesterday - lots of it too.  I really don't like the cold weather & snow, Lilah isn't too sure yet, she likes it better when I don't make her wear the big snow suit, but that ain't happening.

Pictures of when the snow first started to come down & it was coming down quick.....

The next few our from the early evening after it started & she had to wear the snow suit.....

"Seriously, I have to wear this suit"

Happy in daddy's arms

I'm done!

Here are some pictures of our Christmas decorations.....

Loves her Mrs. Potato Head

Snuggles with daddy watching her shows.
Finally, we went to see Santa a few Sunday's ago. She was waving at Santa standing in line, but didn't want to sit on his lap.  She didn't cry or scream, but you can tell she was thrilled :).  After daddy picked her up, she waved and said Bye!

Our visit to South Carolina

At the beginning of November drove down to South Carolina to visit the Colella's!  We had a great time as always....last year when we went Lilah was only 6 months old, but this time she is on the move and a blast with her cousins Roman & Gianna.  Those two wore Lilah out everyday, I don't think she wined the whole time we were visiting :), she took a 3 hour nap everyday & slept 12 hours at night.

We left our house at 1:30 am to beat the traffic & it was a good plan, we were down there by lunch time with only one stop for breakfast, gas & potty break.  I think that is pretty good for a 18 month old & a pregnant momma.

On Friday morning we went to the park to run off some energy.

the girls love minnie mouse

Lilah had a great time having Ro chase her around

Bedtime show & snack

On Saturday afternoon we went to horse farm to see horses & the kids could ride a pony.  Lilah loves horses & will make the neigh sound all the time.  She got so excited when she saw all the horses....

This Clydesdale was mean to the other horses

You could tell Ro had ridden a pony before

"Look daddy! more horses"

Gianna wasn't a big fan, so she only went around once

Lilah did not want to wear the helmut, so Daddy held onto
her all the way around - twice

She did not want to get off, she cried.

This deer was able to follow us around & would "beg" us for carrots.  Lilah wasn't so sure about him.

On Sunday all the South Carolina family came over to celebrate birthdays & have some fall fun - most people wore flannel shirts.

Lilah loves chairs, especially ones her size

It was a little hard to get both girls to look at the camera
at the same time.  Still cute though

Lilah loved that there were so many balls to play with,
one of her favorite things to play with.

Yay! we got to see Aunt Missi.

It was also Gianna's birthday weekend!

Once she got the hang of blow out the candles, I think
she did it 3 times.

"I think I will lick my cake"

Oooh presents!!!

Finally, Lilah loved all the new to her toys at Ro & Gianna's house - her favorites were all the balls, the tunnel & kitchen set.

Thank you Aunt Stacie, Uncle Toby, Ro & Gianna for letting us visit you!
