Father's Day

I know I am over a week late, time just got away from me....Last year was Josh's first Father's Day and I forgot to take a picture - my mind was still kinda foggy, Lilah was 3 weeks old and wasn't getting much sleep.  I am sorry Josh :(

Lilah has the best Daddy - he loves unconditionally and she has him wrapped around her little finger.  Over the past few months I have watched her become more and more of a Daddy's Girl.  She gets so excited when she seems when we pick him up at work, so cute.  She will even say "Hi Dada".  I know that he will do anything for us and doesn't mind when we come visit him in his garage, he will stop and play for a little while.  He is the absolute best!

Father's Day was simple, a day all about Daddy! He wanted to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, we beat the crowd by getting there at 7:45am (church starts at 9am).  The only people there that early are those with small children who are up already and older/retired people, even got our food really quick too.  After church we went to do some shopping - Harbor Freight & Lowes.

"What did mommy get you from the two of us?"
Yay Duck Dynasty Shirts!
Daddy is getting ready to make the garage into his Man Cave, so we got him a "Guy" clock and some metal hooks that have Ford logos on them
"Ford" hooks for the wall in the garage

We Love Grandma!

Today is Grandma's Birthday! We invited her and Uncle Brendan's family to go to the Irish Festival down the street from our house.  The festival was OK, but we still had fun hanging out with family.

Relaxing in her stroller

Uncle Brendan decided to try on a kilt - really embracing our Irish heritage.  He likes to show off his legs too

Fried Pickles, they also had fried zucchini & mushrooms - No Thanks!

Silly Uncle Brendan
Lilah really loved the Irish Dancers, she clapped along a few times and did a little dancing herself.

Back to our house for dinner & ice cream cake -

"Ooh what did you get Grandma, oh yeah we got you those.."

Ice Cream cake-Grandma eats gluten free so we couldn't get a regular cake
(Daddy does too)

Grandma, cousin Kaylin with Lilah

She loves noses lately

Snuggle with Grandma, but still get Kaylin's nose
We love you Grandma, so very glad that you watch Lilah for us during the week.  She loves her time with you and I can tell the two of you have a great bond.

On a side note.....Lilah LOVES mac n'cheese, she fed herself the other night and we had to get some pictures for the future. LOL

It took a little more work at bath time to get it all out of her hair, even her eyelashes.

One Year Pictures

The week before Lilah's 1st birthday, we got some pictures taken of her and all of us...so warning there are alot of pictures.  We were by the water, it was a windy day and a little overcast - everything turned out great.

Enjoy!
