Three Months Old

 ~Lilah is about 13lbs on our scale since she doesn't go back to the doctors until her 4 months.
~She is almost rolling over, she gets on her side but not any further
~I think she might be starting to teethe...drooling a lot and wants to suck on our fingers.
~Now that she has good head control, she plays in her exer-saucer a little.

Our Weekend

We went to Mom-mom's on Friday night to spend the night 

instead of getting up early Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams at the Bay Bridge.

In the afternoon we headed to Rock Hall, MD to go to Easton's

We spent Sunday morning cleaning the house up. Lilah loves mirrors, what a girl :), so Josh took a break from cleaning the bathroom so Lilah could talk to the baby in the big mirror.

Mommy's Idea

Josh was outside taking pictures of his friend's motorcycle to put up on Craigslist, so Lilah and I went outside to check it out.  Yes, it was my idea to take pictures of Lilah on the bike with Josh.

Two Months Old

Life with Lilah is wonderful!  She has brought a lot of joy to our lives and home.

~She is really interacting with us, she smiles all the time and we have heard a few giggles too.
~She seems to be a morning person, always has a smile for us when we get her up in the morning.
~She started "talking" to us, she loves to lay on her playmat and talk to the baby in the mirror.
~She started sleeping through the night almost 2 weeks ago - one night she slept 9 hours!
~She weighs 12lbs 6oz and is 24 inches long.
~I went back to work this past Monday, so Lilah spends her days with Grandma - Monday was a
  very rough day for mommy, but we know she is in good hands and being loved on all day.

Nappy Hour

We haven't gone anywhere or done anything exciting that is worth a blog post, so I thought I'd post funny pictures of Lilah sleeping.

Before Lilah was born I thought quite a bit about whether she was going to be a good sleeper, I even prayed a few times that God would bless us with a baby that slept well.  Lilah has been sleeping in her crib since her 2nd night home from the hospital. We have had a few long nights, but she has become a great sleeper, most nights she sleeps 4-5 hours between bottles.  So far she we have had two nights where she has slept for 7 hours before waking me up!! Now I didn't sleep for 7 hours, because I woke up worried and had to check on her.  She also goes back to bed easily after her middle of the night meals.  Daddy is another story....once he is asleep for the night, he doesn't hear a thing. Whether she was or wasn't a good sleeper, we are blessed to have her as our daughter.
