Eleven Months Old!!

I can't believe our little girl is 11 months old already, it is crazy.  She is so much fun, pretty much always has a smile on her face.  We are in the process of planning her 1st birthday party and looking forward to having our families and friends celebrate Lilah's first year with us.  She is losing the baby look slowly.

~Two more teeth on top just popped through.
~She is walking around holding our hands, sometimes she gets alittle ahead of herself.
~Just started standing by herself for a few seconds at a time.
~She will wave to people in the stores and her smile will disappear if they don't wave back.
~Absolutely loves being outside and in a swing, Grandma is taking her for more walks in the wagon now that it is warmer.
~It sounds like she is saying daddy, no mama yet, but that is ok.

When I drop her off at Grandma's house in the morning she gets so excited when she sees Grandma come downstairs - very cute.  She and Grandma have their own routine and Lilah sure does know it too.  Then when I get her at the end of the day she gets so excited when she sees me, makes everyday so worth it.

Last month I said that these pictures were going to get harder to take since she is on the move now, but this time was a breeze!  There really weren't any funny ones or outtakes, we were done in less than 10 minutes.  Here they are though....

Springtime Fun

We have had a few warm days so we have taken advantage and gone outside...Lilah loves being outside, she gets so excited.

We have a park down the street from us and the Amish market near us has a great playground too, so we decided to go and see if Lilah likes the swing and she LOVED it.

Next we decided to try the slide with Daddy, she enjoyed it but I think the swing is still her favorites.

"Oh Boy, that is a long way down"

"Here we go again!"

 Swinging with mommy...

She loves riding on Daddy's shoulders

Let's try bubbles, wasn't into touching them, but loved watching them

Our neighbor has a dog named, Rambo who is very excitable, he really wanted to come play with Lilah but he loves to jump up on people so we had to keep him away - but Lilah waved at him across the yard.

"Did the bubbles get in my hair?"

A few weekends ago we went to visit Grandpa & Grandma Miller in WV....

"Can I come outside too Daddy?"

Playing with Monkers
Having fun with Grandpa & Daddy outside

Trying to pet their dog, Josie

This past Sunday we went to GG's for breakfast with our Eastern Shore family...

Fun with Sami-doo

"I like your necklace CJ"

Ariah reading Lilah her book
 Loves her daddy!

Finally, this is how Lilah likes to ride in carts - she wants to see where she is going and waving at everyone that passes by, her smile disappears when people don't wave and smile back at her.

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend was a lot of fun and very eventful.....Aunt Krista came to visit on Friday afternoon and stay until Saturday afternoon, Yay!!!  We went out to dinner & to get some Sweet Frog yogurt.  After we went to bed, Josh started to not feel good and he was having a low blood sugar.  Because Josh was sick and couldn't keep anything down, we couldn't get his blood sugar back up and unfortunately our emergency Glucagon shot was expired - so I was going to take Josh to the ER, I woke up Krista to let her know what was going on so she could listen for Lilah if she woke up.  Then Josh decided that we should call 911 instead and it would be a lot quicker.  They arrived and were able to hook him up to an IV to get his blood sugar up again.  We knew Josh was feeling better when he started joking with the EMT. The next morning Josh woke up and the hand that had the IV was swollen and a little sore...so what do you do when something is wrong physically and you aren't sure what to do about it - You call Mom!  We called both of our mothers and they gave the same advice, warm compresses.  Woke up Easter morning and his hand was even more swollen and now his arm was too...after we gave Lilah her Easter basket, got some breakfast, off to the ER we went.  Josh had Phlebitis (an inflammation of a vein), left with an antibiotic, so we never made it to Easter services, but we were thankful that we knew what was wrong and he should feel better in a few days.  As of today his hand & arm almost back to normal, thank God!

Despite all of the excitement we had a great time with Krista, just hanging out and going shopping.
