1 Year Old!

Ok, the second kid's first year by so much faster than the first kid.  Ady Jean has completely shook up our house in a wonderful way.  We are very blessed to have her, she was surprise baby and the best kind of surprise!  A week of memories, we knew ahead of time when her birthday was going to be, and were a little more prepared for her birth.

She is a fiesty little girl, goes after what she wants.  A lot of things she has done sooner than Lilah did....which we think is because she wants to keep up with her big sister who she loves.  Taking more steps every day by herself.  She doesn't like to ride in the car, but we are seeing some progress in the area.  She is a great eater, haven't found anything that she doesn't like yet; drinking whole milk.  She has 8 teeth, I am pretty sure more are on the way. She loves to be swung around and wrestle, smiles at everyone she sees, loves to be chased after by her daddy.  She is our cuddler, she gives great hugs, holds on tight and pats your back.

I can already see a bond between her and Lilah, she gets so excited when she sees Lilah in the morning - big smiles. I love watching her new things and discover things.  She said  "Mama" for the first time this week too.

We are having her party tomorrow at Mom-mom Teat's house on the Eastern Shore and a snow storm on her birthday too!!

Wishing for Summertime

It is official...we are starting to go stir crazy in our house - we are ready to be able to go outside to play.

Last weekend we went to Nana's house and the Bay was pretty much all frozen over.....

Ady doesn't like to keep her socks on so Nana put them on her hands - it was quite funny to see her trying to hold things....

Ady took her first tumble....off the couch and into the ottoman, she bumped her eye & ended up with a small cut.

This past weekend we made cupcakes and decorated them with some yummy icing....Daddy is the fun one that lets you get the extra sprinkles and icing BEFORE lunch.

Lilah loves to read and she will sit with her favorite books "reading" out loud - you can tell which ones we read the most....

A little peek-a-boo with Ady...

 I wears scarves a lot and Lilah has become quite fascinated with them....today she told "Grammy, I have a scarf", she made it out of her baby blanket & had it twisted into a knot....
