One Year Old!

Wow, I can't believe our little girl is ONE already!  Memories from her birth have been going through my mind all weekend.  We are extremely blessed that God has given us Lilah Grace as our daughter.  She brings a lot of joy & fun into our home.  There are still times a year later that I can't believe that we have a little girl.  I have quite few moments over this past weekend that I have gotten choked up that she is a year old already!  It really has flown by very fast

When Lilah was born I was excited to see what her personality was going to be like and she has the best personality, she is so much fun and is outgoing like her daddy.  She has been such an easy baby and pretty much happy all the time. I love how she waves & smiles at everyone when we are out and about, when someone doesn't wave back her smile disappears.  Lilah loves being chased and she is fast crawler, loves to wrestle with her daddy, tossed up in the air, swinging...seems to be a little dare devil.  She hasn't really liked cuddling, but recently she has started to cuddle more which we LOVE and we soak it up.

Lilah has almost 8 teeth now, she had a molar come through and we didn't even know it, no tears or pain - must have a high pain intolerance.  She is cruising around the furniture, she will walk around holding our hands and will stand by herself for a couple of seconds.  She goes to the pediatrician for her one year visit on Wednesday, I have a feeling she is in the lower percentile for weight.  Slowly she is getting to be a better eater and seems to try anything at least once, but her favorite foods are mac n'cheese and fruits.  She is off of formula and drinking whole milk now, she doesn't like to drink it out of a cup, only the bottle so far.

We had a big party for her yesterday on the Eastern Shore at Mom-mom Teat's house with all of our families.  I will be posting pictures soon.
