A Visit to the Smithsonian

Before Josh and I met he was asked by his company to duplicate a soldier's artwork on a UAV (Unmaned Airal Vehicle) and it was hung up in the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum in April 2008.  We have been wanting for quite awhile to go to DC to check it out...so we decided to go on our way to South Carolina last week.  Mom-mom and CJ went with us.  Josh told one of the employees that he painted that plane and the guy just smiled politely.

Had to stop on the way to talk to a cop on a segway

The artwork on the plane

Very proud family

with a Proud Mom-mom

Here are some more pictures of what else we saw at the museum....

"They walked on the moon"

Time to take a break to feed Lilah

Amelia Earhart's plane

Lilah was worn out, so she took a nap halfway through

Not really interested in the plane,
but loved playing with Mom-mom's necklace.
